2nd Lt Albert M ROBINSON, Junior was born in Bloomfield, Essex County, New Jersey in October the 25th 1920. The 1940 census list him as a 19 year old apprentice at "The General Electric". Albert J ERNST was born on the 28 Déc 1922 in Bronx County, New York. In 1943, Albert volunteered for airborne troops and was attached to A company of the 517th parachute infantry regiment . Leo DEAN was born May 3, 1924, son of Richard J. Dean and Lillian M. Hynes of Albany and Watervliet. A 1941 graduate of Christian Brothers Academy, he registered for the draft the following year and went on to serve for almost three years with his beloved 517th Parachute Infantry Regimental Combat Team.
