Paul (Yvon , Achille) CONDRILLIER, est né le 13 avril 1924 à Nice il trouvera la mort tragiquement le 25 août 1997 à l'âge de 73 ans dans un accident de plongée sous-marine en méditerranée. Gene FRICE was born in Long Beach, California 9th of september 1925 to Arthur Frice and Ethel Craig. Spending most of his childhood in and out of boys homes, Gene was introduced to discipline and military life by way of the NOTC (Naval Officer Training Corps) in High School. The 1st Battalion, 551st Parachute Infantry Regiment was activated on 26 November 1942 at Fort Kobbe in the Panama Canal Zone. Its initial cadre came from Company C of the 501st Parachute Infantry Battalion, while the rest of that battalion was absorbed into the 503rd Parachute Infantry Regiment.
