James W. Deming was born February 22, 1923 in Patchogue, Long Island, NY to Minnie G. Deming (nee Wilcox). By 1927 his mom was living in Oneonta, NY and by 1930, the U.S. Census recorded them living in Westford, NY. His mom was a public school teacher and divorced by then. 2nd Lt Albert M ROBINSON, Junior was born in Bloomfield, Essex County, New Jersey in October the 25th 1920. The 1940 census list him as a 19 year old apprentice at "The General Electric". He volunteered paratroopers and was attached to the 517th parachute infantry regiment. The unit was formed in early 1943 and trained at Camp Toccoa, Georgia. Marvin BELL was born December 16th, 1923 in Bisbee, Cochise County, Arizona. He was Private first class in the 517th Parachute Infantry Regiment, "G" Company, when he was killed in action in the first attack of "Ridge X" in the Col de Braus, September 9th, 1944. He is burried in Pomona Valley Memorial Park, California.
